Luann de Lesseps Entering Rehab After Arrest

After her seven-month marriage came to a screeching halt this fall, the Real Housewives of NY star seemed to be moving on - but then December happened.

In the occurrence, the state's lawyer working on it said the unscripted television star hammered an entryway, kicked a cop and advised individuals preceding her capture, "I will execute all of you", as per a report in the Palm Beach Post that was later acquired by ABC News. "I have chose to seek professional guidance and will be voluntarily checking into an alcohol treatment center".

The RHONY star was released Sunday morning and issued a statement apologizing for her actions.

"My actions alleged int he police report do not reflect my core values and my law abiding character", Luann continued in her Instagram message. "I am so grateful for the love and support that I am receiving from my family, friends and loyal supporters".

Oh boy, the ol' "I want to apologize to anyone I offended with my actions" non-apology apology. This was my first time in Palm Beach since my wedding and being here brought up buried emotions. This caused fans to wonder regarding her future, but it is safe to assume that Bravo will be using the case to generate hype for the show for when it premieres some time in 2018.

Luann de Lesseps will be checking into an alcohol treatment center. Police eventually got de Lesseps under control, handcuffed her and took her down to the station for booking.

Kat has been a writer, social media maven and mom for longer than she's willing to admit.

According to ABC News, Luann was arrested Christmas Eve after entering a hotel room that was not hers.

When police arrived, she appeared to be intoxicated, according to the police report.

The reality star resisted arrest by pushing and pulling at the officers.

When an Officer O'Leary eventually opened the bathroom door she 'shoved Officer O'Leary with an open palm to the chest, then slammed the door on Officer O'Leary's face, striking him in the forehead'. As the New York Daily News reported, she was apparently slurring her words. She is now charged with resisting arrest and five counts of assault toward the officers.
