Well a new post on the social network Weibo from Chang Cheng suggests that Lenovo S5 will be much more interesting smartphone Xiaomi Redmi Note 5. It will be noticeably different from the original, though purely for the better, because it will be equipped with more modern fixtures. This smartphone is expected to be Xiaomi Redmi 5.
Xiaomi launched the Redmi 5 and Redmi 5 Plus in December in China. Now the company is sending out teasers ahead of the release of the Redmi 5 smartphone, for the Indian market, on March 14.
Last month Xiaomi launched Redmi Note 5 and Redmi Note 5 Pro in India. It comes in three storage variants, 2GB RAM + 16GB ROM model which is priced at RMB 799 (Rs 7,800 approximately), 3GB RAM + 32GB ROM model which is priced at RMB 899 (Rs 8,800 approximately) and 4GB RAM + 32GB ROM model which costs RMB 1,099 (approximately Rs 11,000).
Some time ago one of top managers of Lenovo, namely the Vice-President Chang Cheng, confirmed that on March 20 in China will be the announcement of the smartphone Lenovo S5. The Redmi Note 5 for China will be featured with a 5.99-inch FHD+ 18:9 display, powered with Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 Chipset. It is worth mentioning that all Xiaomi products are alternatively also available on mi.com and offline Mi Home stores. The resolution of the display is 720×1440 pixels.
The Xiaomi Redmi 5 will be coming with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC which is an octa-core processor running at a clock rate of 1.8 GHz paired with Adreno 506 GPU. The phone runs on Android Nougat Operating system out of the box with company-owned MIUI 9.
The camera section of this phone has a 12MP sensor in the rear and a 5MP sensor in the front. The device highlights a symmetrical design with the rear camera and fingerprint sensor perfectly aligned on the back as well as with the microUSB port on the bottom.
