Square Enix Seeking Level Planner for Final Fantasy VII Remake

Final Fantasy VII Remake Dev Hiring

Final Fantasy VII Remake Progress Shared In A New Job Listing For Core Members

Despite Square Enix not revealing much, it seems like the development of the Final Fantasy 7 Remake is proceeding as intended.

The job posting sheds light on the progress of the game.

Final Fantasy VII Remake is in development for PlayStation 4, and at this stage, it has been missing from the public scene for at least three years now.

Gain experience in a flat organization, use your talents to your heart's content.

"So we will work on the creation of this big title by setting up core members of various professions such as level planner, battle planner, designer, engineer, including existing members in the production of FF VII REMAKE".

While it's a bit odd that the company is still looking for help so late after announcing the title, it wouldn't exactly be unheard of.

"We've come to the conclusion that in order to meet fan expectations we must increase its quality another step higher".

According to Siliconera, the listing makes it clear that it isn't a last minute recruitment drive to deal with an escalating work load. Instead, the new addition will work on various levels in the game and generate ideas for how to utilize characters within them.

It'll be interesting to see if E3 2018 or some other event will provide more details on Final Fantasy VII Remake.

Looking for new level planners is not a last-minute replacement, Square Enix adds.
