Will Westworld work as a cartoony mobile game? Team17’s Planet Alpha sci-fi platformer plays gravity with by rotating the planet

"Developing the game for over 4 years has been a roller coaster, so when we looked for a publisher we were very selective", said Lazar on the new partnership with Team 17.

PLANET ALPHA is an atmospheric side-scrolling platform adventure game.

A project years in the making, Planet Alpha is the result of an idea from Adrian Lazar, an artist who previously worked at IO Interactive. You will have to brush up on your puzzle skills too, as there will be some very creative ones in Planet Alpha.

You'll be making your way across an alien planet, escaping from "relentless enemies" as they chase you across the world. Is this world really as tranquil and serene as it first appears and what more will you discover? "We are building something special and we're putting everything we have into it", says Lazar in a statement. "I can not wait to share our creation with the world", said Adrian Lazar, Creator of Planet Alpha.

Team17 CEO Debbie Bestwick adds: "At their best video games can take us to different worlds on incredible journeys". Planet Alpha is due out for all major platforms later on in 2018, and we'll keep you updated with future details and impressions of it as they come.

Power Over Night and Day - The world of Planet Alpha is affected by the solar cycle, and as you progress you'll discover a unique gift - you can manipulate the time of day and use it to your advantage. Rocket down to the comments below and let us know.
