Jeff Goldblum Reprises His Role As Dr

Jurassic World Jeff Goldblum Ian Malcolm

Jurassic Park star Jeff Goldblum has announced that he will reprise his role as Dr. Ian Malcolm in the Jurassic World Evolution video game

The actor goes on to give his presence in the title his personal stamp of approval, saying, "I highly recommend it". In what could only be described as probably the best news about the game since its original announcement, today developer Frontier Developments revealed that Jeff Goldblum will reprise his roles as Dr. Ian Malcolm in the upcoming amusement park/business simulation game.

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, which also stars Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard, charges its way into theaters on June 22.

Jurassic World Evolution looks like it delivers an experience along the lines of other business simulators like Theme Park or Planet Coaster, except there are dinosaurs. It gets ten Goldblums out of a possible ten Goldblums.

The game tells an all-new story that touches on key characters and events from across the Jurassic World film franchise.

Jurassic World Evolution stomps onto PC, Xbox One, and PS4 in mid-to-late 2018.

Interestingly, Goldblum will act as a helpful narrator, advising you on how to build and maintain your very own dinosaur-themed amusement park and "will be around to guide players through the decision-making process". Players will build their own Jurassic World as they bioengineer new dinosaur breeds and construct attractions, containment and research facilities.

We're just a few months out from the release of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, and like any big blockbuster movie, there's going to be a video game tie-in.

Jurassic World Evolution has, uh, found a way to rope in Jeff Goldblum. Jurassic World's director Colin Treverrow wrote the sequel, with J.A. Bayona directing. It will be available in the summer for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
