He missed his side's 2-1 win over Liverpool before coming off the bench in United's shock Champions League elimination by Sevilla.

French national team manager Didier Deschamps has had his say on Paul Pogba's ongoing struggles at Manchester United, telling reporters he's sure the midfielder is not content with the situation.

The former Juventus star took to his Instagram handle with a caption "New Hair bleu pour les bleu super Saiyan bleu", which means new hair for super blue blue Saiyan in English.

Pogba, who has been called up by Deschamps for France's forthcoming friendlies against Colombia and Russian Federation, has missed a number of pivotal games for United in recent weeks after a largely underwhelming season at Old Trafford.

"This is a situation that he must not appreciate because of everything he would have been able to offer", Deschamps said. "There must be numerous reasons".

Pogba was then dropped for the FA Cup victory over Brighton on Saturday.

Pogba has started just 24 matches for United this season, with manager Mourinho preferring Marouane Fellaini and youngster Scott McTominay in recent weeks. It can happen elsewhere that a player is a bit down or is going through a particular situation with his club. It may be Paul, others at another time, and I will do as always, I will speak with them, to understand, because I do not have all the information.

Deschamps added: "It's not specific to Paul".
