Trump says that last Saturday, Syrian President Bashar Assad deployed chemical weapons in what was a "significant escalation in a pattern of chemical weapons use by that very awful regime".

The Kremlin on Saturday condemned Western air strikes on Syria where its armed forces are backing President Bashar al-Assad.

The target of the attack was not identified. I firmly declare that the presidents of the United States and France and the British prime minister committed a major crime. "At the end of the day, the Assad regime doesn't survive if the Russians and Iranians don't back him".
The Iranian Supreme leader said this crime of America and its allies will result in nothing.
"Insulting the President of Russian Federation is unacceptable and inadmissible".
