Police said at least four people have been hurt following a brawl involving around 150 people which broke out at a Sikh temple in Indiana.
Police said on Sunday that they responded to a disturbance reported at the Gurdwara Sikh Temple located in the Indianapolis suburb of Greenwood.
It was originally reported that people involved in the altercation had been stabbed.
Fillenwarth states 4 people suffered minor injuries and were taken into your hospital, even by which police will question them. Fillenwarth says it's believed that there was a worship service going on when the fight broke out.
Authorities added that tensions boiled over after those in power refused to step down following an internal election.
The brawl reportedly resulted from an anticipated transition of leadership power.
"It was chaos", Sing told IndyStar.
Police are reviewing surveillance video from the temple and interviewing other participants in the fight.
