Hotel Artemis has a ridiculously talented cast, and it looks like the upcoming thriller will have more than enough badass characters and action scenes to keep the energy of the trailer going.
The ensemble cast includes Jodie Foster as Nurse, Sterling K. Brown as Waikiki, Sofia Boutella as Nice, Jeff Goldblum as The Wolf King/Niagara, Brian Tyree Henry as Honolulu, Jenny Slate as Morgan, Zachary Quinto as Ilya, Charlie Day as Acapulco, and Dave Bautista as Everest. "Somebody did", she responds evenly. Foster gives an ominous one-liner explaining the hush-hush policy: "This hospital was built on two things: trust, and rules". The film is notable for being Foster's first acting project since 2013's "Elysium". Instead of offering a comfy bed, a good night's sleep, and a mediocre breakfast served buffet-style like its name would suggest, Hotel Artemis stitches up delinquents in peace and privacy. The plot has been kept under wraps, but appears to involve Brown and Boutella's characters dealing with some kind of handheld destructive device.
He also references a line from The Doors' 1968 song "Five to One", saying from a jail cell, "I guess my ballroom days are over, baby".
Jodie Foster is the creepy hospital owner of our (scary) dreams in the new trailer for Hotel Artemis, written and directed by Iron Man 3's Drew Pearce.
Global Road Entertainment acquired North American distribution rights to "Hotel Artemis" earlier this year.
Hotel Artemis comes out on June 8.
