Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany and teammates John Stones, Bernardo Silva, Fabian Delph and Kyle Walker celebrated their Premier League title win on Sunday with fans at Hale Wine Bar in Manchester.

The Etihad Stadium club were confirmed as champions on Sunday after Manchester United suffered a shock loss to West Bromwich Albion at Old Trafford.

"The first time you win it, you think you'll win all of them", said Kompany.

"You just want to hold on to the feeling". It's fantastic, such a hard achievement and I'm proud of the team and everyone involved.

One line out of Manchester City's anthem - "Blue Moon" reads, "You saw me standing alone, without a dream in my heart..." - a refrain true until the Abu Dhabi United Group took a liking and splurged on the team in 2008. "I've been lucky to win three titles but so many I've missed as well".

"Today I am happy and I suppose my team-mates might roll their eyes at this, but I want to see the reaction now". I'm buzzing, over the moon, so happy and proud to be able to share this with all of our fans, everybody who's been there to support us especially in this last week as many know it's been very hard but at the same time we've bounced back, we're champions now and thank you to all of you, It's an incredible season.

"I think winning at Stamford Bridge gave us the confidence that we could do it", said the City boss, as quoted by the Mirror.

West Brom had lost eight of their previous nine games and last won on January 13. We're all delighted, but there's a lot more to do to unlock our full potential.

Soon after the ADUG takeover, club's chief executive Garry Cook was quoted saying "China and India are gagging for football content to watch and we're going to tell them that City is their content". City still have five games to play this season.

"We did it in the way we wanted to do", Guardiola said at Wembley on Saturday.

'We needed a period of adaptation...his methods were the right ones, we believed in him.

After drawing 1-1 at home to Everton in August, City went on a 20-match winning run in all competitions.

Meanwhile Mourinho was left counting the cost of an insipid display by his team. "These guys are fantastic". "This club is absolutely unbelievable in all terms".
