Sony India has just added a bunch of new products to its consumer audio lineup which includes new headphones and speakers. The headphones - WF-SP700N and WI-SP600N will become smarter with Google Assistant and will be optimized with an update.

A wireless design is important when wearing headphones on the go, keeping this in mind the company has designed the wireless noise cancelling headphones, WF-SP700N which is combined with digital noise cancelling technology and splash-proof design.

The headphone also supports an Ambient Sound mode where users can hear what's happening in their ambient environment. The earphones come with a one-touch-open charging case which will be able to charge the earphones within 90 minutes in order to be used for 3 hours of non-stop playback.

Out of the nine new products, the six headphones are splash proof, equipped with noise cancellation technology and are aimed for youngsters at an affordable price. It can be easily connected to your smartphone via NFC. With this pair, one can keep listening for up to approximately 6 hours.




Sony WI-SP500, WI-C300 and WH-CH400 in the headphone range will be available from April 17, 2018 across Sony stores. The WI-CS300 is a behind-the-neck headphone with in-line remote and voice control for Google Assistant and Siri. The WH-CH500 for Rs 4,490, along with the features on the CH400, has a swivel design that makes it convenient to carry. Boasting of Sony's Extra Bass feature, these portable speakers are rated IP67 and are water- and dust-proof. Weighing 15 gram, this in-ear headphone has been priced at Rs 2,990 and offers 8 hours of battery backup.

All three speakers are waterproof, rustproof and rustproof and can be made to connect to one another through Sony's Wireless Party Chan mode that will be able to connect up to 100 speakers at once. The WH-CH500 and WH-CH400 are over-the-ear wireless headphones that offer up to 20 hours of battery life and are priced at Rs. 4,990 and Rs. 3,790 respectively. The WF-SP700N is connected with Bluetooth v4.1 and will be available in Yellow and Black starting next month for an asking price of Rs 12,990. The cheaper SP500 claims to offer eight hours of battery.

The wireless speaker range starts at Rs 13,990 for the SRS-XB41, Rs 9,990 for the XB31 and Rs 7,990 for the XB21. The speakers are enabled with "Party Booster" feature which enhances the beats and gives the party an extra boost, claims the company. They will be available starting today in multiple color options with SRS-XB21 available in black, blue, red and white colours.
