Now, that might seem like an easy feat, but several of us have tried in the GamesRadar office and there's definitely an issue with the Fortnite replay challenge not working. Now there is no ETA for the downtime or the patch, so we're just going to have to wait and see.
Anyone who's diving into this week's Fortnite Battle Pass Challenges will know that one of the requirements is to watch a match replay. As it does every week, Epic Games prepped Fortnite players last night for the game's usual period of downtime. Due to these issues, Epic was forced to delay the roll out of version 4.2, which was supposed to bring numerous quests for week 3 of season 4 online. The developers over at Epic Games has announced that the installment of Fortnite's 4.2 patch will require server maintenance. In the game's news tab, Epic Games has teased a new weapon: a Burst Assault Rifle.
Fortnite is moving forward to a time of releasing a new patch, 4.2.
Taking to Twitter, Epic Games confirmed the update would be delayed which will affect some of the new challenges, writing: 'We've discovered an issue that's going to delay the release of v4.2.
For this reason, Epic Games may choose to wait until tomorrow morning to set the new update live, and avoid rush hour server times. Here's hoping all of the issues have been ironed out and update 4.2 will actually go live tonight, but we'll keep you posted regardless.
