The Seahawks fired a second-round 290 (2-over par) as a team on Tuesday, and they're 20-over for the tournament.
Tomorrow will determine the top five finishers that will advance to the NCAA Finals in Stillwater Oklahoma, from May 25-30th. CSS will resume play at 7 a.m. today with a shotgun start for the second round at 10 a.m.
Schaake was three-over for the day and five-over for the tournament when round two was suspended.
TECH LINEUP - Unlike Monday's opening round, birdies were much harder to come by Tuesday for the Yellow Jackets, who started by posting three birdies on the opening hole, but only finished at 5-under-par. The Georgia native is tied for 18th individually. Sharp cut two strokes over the final nine holes, while Green was 6-over-par at the turn and was then even on holes 1-9.
Senior Andrew Paysse (72-68=140, -4) enjoyed a strong second round outing for the Maroon & White, carding five birdies as well as an eagle on the par-five, 551-yard 15 hole to climb 11 spots on the leaderboard into a tie for eighth place. ISU and the Crimson Tide sit one-stroke ahead of Kansas with 18 holes of golf to play. The fourth ranked Yellow Jackets are now nine shots behind surging Texas and six shots ahead of sixth place after day two of region play.
