OnePlus OxygenOS Open Beta update out for OnePlus 5 and 5T

The global variant of the OnePlus 5 and OnePlus 5T already received the Android 8.1 Oreo update last month.

With the May security patch, old OnePlus phones are finally getting the Group MMS feature, which can be found in the Message category. The commitment is evident as it announced that the upcoming flagship killer will receive the Android P update. For the OnePlus 5T, the update brings full-screen gestures. OnePlus made its name creating lovely phones with terrific specs, sold for a fraction of the ... However, they both bring same features to the smartphones.

The Launcher App has now an added Toolbox Card in shelf along with a hidden space in app drawer.




OnePlus phones like OnePlus 3, OnePlus 3T, OnePlus 5 and the OnePlus 5T were launched with Android Nougat OS, however, the company has upgraded all the four phones to Android Oreo. It is not clear what OnePlus means by the Hidden Space in the app drawer, but it notes that the update also brings support for editing dynamic icons like the weather, clock and calendar. If you don't use Oxygen and instead use a third-party launcher like Nova Launcher Prime, you won't see any change with those updates. The user interface is getting a face-lift, the timing will be more accurate, and there are some other general fixes for bugs.
