Switch Pokemon games outed - Let's Go Pikachu and Let's Go Eevee

Pokemon Switch To Be Revealed This Month, Will Launch In 2018

Emily: Pokemon RPG For Nintendo Switch To Be Revealed This Month, Released In 2018

With a name like Pokemon: Let's Go Pikachu being similar to Pokemon GO and other features of the title seemingly derived from the popular mobile title, could this leak end up becoming true? Then, by 2017, overall download numbers increased to over 750 million a year. Currently, on Android alone, the game has been downloaded for more than 100 million times.

After unveiling some possible information on Resetera yesterday, Emily Rogers has taken to her personal blog to share even more details about Pokemon on Nintendo Switch. Judging from recent events, it seems that this speculation may not be too far from the truth.

It appears that Pokemon for the Nintendo Switch may be revealed sooner than expected.

This news that a Pokemon game will be coming to Nintendo Switch has been building for a while now. "It will be an RPG with at least two versions", something quite regular for the franchise on Nintendo 3DS. Looks like Nintendo Switch users might be getting that after all.

Joe Merrick of the Pokemon news site Serebii.net was the first to report the news. Rogers also said that there would be a Pokemon Switch announcement before the end of the month. "I suspect that the naming/branding for this year's Pokemon Switch title (there's two versions) might raise a few eyebrows". Hopefully, all the rumors will be addressed and we will have something decisive to work with. Obviously, none of this info has been verified yet, so we'll just have to wait it out until Ninty drops an official reveal. A recent tweet from Game Freak's Junichi Masuda also featured Pikachu and Eevee plushies, alongside a Pikachu doll wearing a Luigi costume, potentially in a sly nod towards Pokemon Let's GO!
