Mission: Impossible - Fallout is scheduled to release on July 27. Writer/director Christopher McQuarrie marks the first director in the franchise to repeat, reprising his duties from Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation.
The best intentions often come back to haunt you.
After the first trailer was released a few months ago, we've been treated to more bone-crunching action from the International Monetary Fund and we're definitely accepting this mission. Ethan Hunt and his International Monetary Fund team, along with some familiar allies, race against time after a mission gone wrong in this new chapter.
Superman himself, Henry Cavill plays one of the bad guys and looks to have brought his A-game to the fight scenes, which are spectacular in the trailer. The excellent cast for this action film includes everyone from before: Rebecca Ferguson, Michelle Monaghan, Alec Baldwin, Simon Pegg, Ving Rhames, Angela Bassett, and Vanessa Kirby. The 55-year-old Tom Cruise barely looks 45 and he's performing stunts that amp up the death-defying factor with each film.
The new trailer has Tom and a heavily-moustached Henry Cavill pulling off some ridiculously risky stunts, something the Mission Impossible series has always been known for.
