The injured woman was taken to the hospital of the city of Denton.

Five people were found fatally shot inside a Ponder home Wednesday morning.

Late Wednesday night, the Tarrant County Medical Examiner identified the two men involved as Justin Painter and Seth Richardson.

The gunman shot himself after killing his three children and his ex-wife's boyfriend at a residence in the 600 block of Lone Star Park Lane, a little more than 35 miles north of Fort Worth.

Dispatchers obtained a name at round 8:28 a.m. a few self-inflicted gunshot sufferer at a Ponder dwelling and, whereas police had been en route, they had been notified of a number of different victims, the Denton County Sheriff's Workplace stated.

News of the murder-suicide shocked residents of the suburban town with a population of less than 1,400 people.




The Ponder Independent School District said it was placed on "heightened alert", but the area was later determined to be secure.

Shortly before arrival, firefighters were told there were multiple victims inside the home.

Another neighbor, Dianna Booker, said she didn't know the people.

Authorities said there was no threat to the community.
