With the sitcom being based around the One Direction star's real life experience, it only made sense for Harry to executive produce the series.
It is based on a time in Style's own life when he settled in with friend and mentor Ben Winston, who now works on "The Late Late Show with James Corden", and his wife Meredith after his band's talent show success.
In an interview with Rolling Stone magazine past year, TV producer Winston told how Styles originally said he would be moving into his home for two weeks because a house he liked nearby needed work. Styles ended up sleeping on a mattress in Winston's attic for 20 months. Even when we went out for a meal, it's such a sweet family neighborhood, no one dreamed it was actually him.
Already the stars believe Harry will play an integral role as executive producer. "Then he said, 'I'm going to stay until Christmas, if you don't mind.' Then Christmas came, and". "And when he moved out, we were gutted".
He continued: "We'd be in bed like an old couple... and the door would go off".
"Happy Together" was announced as part of CBS's 2018-2019 primetime line-up reveal on Wednesday (May 16th).
One Direction is now on hiatus as of the end of 2015, with Styles launching his solo career with a self-titled album this time previous year as well as beginning an acting career with a role in Christopher Nolan's WWII epic Dunkirk.
