There is hope that Michael Carrick can quickly rise through the ranks in the start of his new chapter as a backroom staff member to become Jose Mourinho's new assistant.

The Red Devils are interested in Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder Fred and Lazio star Sergej Milinkovic-Savic meaning McTominay could be pushed even further down the pecking order if the pair arrive. Faria has since followed Mourinho across Europe and played a big part in Porto's successful European campaign's from which Mourinho made his name. "I'm sure that will be the case again", Carrick added.
