First, de Rossi spoke about her and DeGeneres's upcoming trip to Africa as well as why she made a decision to quit acting.

"I was approaching 45 and I was just wondering, is there something that I could tackle now that I've never done before that would be very challenging and different", de Rossi explained.

While she did seem to give up the career, she somehow appeared in the fifth season of "Arrested Development" which she talks about with her wife Ellen DeGeneres.

Fans of the show Arrested Development will know Portia de Rossi as the slightly immature, flirty and smug Lindsay Bluth Fünke. Shonda Rhimes wrote me off Scandal.

Of course, he made a decision to write her character into a few episodes anyway, so the fifth season of Arrested Development, in which she plays Lindsay Bluth, will be her last acting job.

The Australian actress is well known for her roles on the shows Scandal, Ally McBeal, Arrested Development, and Nip/Tuck.

De Rossi also went on to explain more about the art-based venture that's pulled her away from Hollywood.

But then, Hurwitz wrote her into five more episodes, and here we are. "You decided you didn't want to do anything more with acting", she said of her wife of almost 10 years. "Don't know how it happened".

The company is called General Public and in a nutshell, she says that they "print paintings". "Rather than the traditional flat print, we print with all the texture and articulation in the original painting, so it's actually really hard to tell the difference".
