However, this most recent leak might actually not be as real as we may hope.

The absence of the Wasp from the promo art questions its authenticity as it has already been confirmed that Ant-Man and his companion Wasp will be making an appearance in the next Avengers movie.

The possible first artwork from Avengers 4 shows a few Avengers in a new light. We see a vivid blue toe-box and shield graphic heel counter as a nod to Captain America, while the shoe tongue has been reimagined to mimic a piece of Iron Man's high-tech suit of armor.

Now a new set photo shows just to what lengths the filmmaker have gone to in order to recreate the scenes of that epic battle in NY from the original Avengers. But that's not all that's notable about this image.

Avengers' fans may have just got their first view of how the new team could look post the Infinity War in Avengers 4.

If you recall, just as Thanos gained the full power of the Infinity Gauntlet, he was viciously attacked by Thor who threw his newly forged Stormbringer axe right into Thanos' chest. Whatever the reason there (personally, I think he was feeling grumpy after flat out losing a fight for once), it seems to hint that Bruce Banner and the Hulk will talk out their differences and meet some kind of compromise, resulting in a take on a "Professor Hulk" that has the best aspects of both personas.

Avengers 4 is set to release in May 2019.

Other theory that fans have suggested will take place in the next film is that after the Avengers defeat Thanos, each of the original members of the team will use it for their own purposes. Everything the Avengers have fought for has led up to this moment - the fate of Earth and existence itself has never been more uncertain. For example, the Incredible Hulk's Slip-On features a graphic of his larger-than-life green toes ripping through a pair of checkerboard Vans.
