The Elder Scrolls Online is getting Wolfhunter and Murkmire expansions this year

E3 2018 Bethesda Announce New IP Starfield Gaming By Jimmy Donnellan On Jun 11 2018

To cap off their E3 2018 briefing, Bethesda took to the stage and announced that they are now working on a brand new "next generation title" that would be their first new franchise in 25 years.

Elder Scrolls Blades aims to be the most accessible Elder Scrolls title imaginable - one available on every system that can handle it.

Truth be told, none of us should be surprised that Bethesda is working on a new Elder Scrolls game.

Described by Bethesda's Todd Howard, The Elder Scrolls: Blades casts players as "the empire's top agents", who return home to find that it has been destroyed. You'll be able to explore open outdoor worlds as well as a mix of hand-crafted and procedurally generated dungeons.

There will also be The Town - the hub for your quests.

A list hasn't been confirmed, but Bethesda did confirm they want it on as many mobile phones as possible.

Bethesda has announced during its E3 conference that its collectible free-to-play card game, The Elder Scrolls: Legends, will be heading to Nintendo Switch amongst other platforms later this year.

E3 is the world's largest exhibition for the games industry, stuffed full of the latest and greatest games, consoles, and gaming hardware. Given that we didn't know if we would see a new Elder Scrolls title anytime in the next five years, this is welcome news indeed.
