Charging documents say cocaine was found in a wallet McGowan left behind on a United Airlines plane at Washington Dulles International Airport past year. She later pleaded not guilty to the charge.

She has pleaded not guilty to the crime, and maintains the drugs could have been planted as five hours had passed between McGowan leaving the wallet, which contained her ID card, and it being found by a cleaning crew. This is a warrant out of my arrest in Virginia. The "Charmed" star believes Weinstein framed her in hopes of stopping her from sharing her allegations against the producer.

After McGowan's wallet went missing but before the charges against her were made public, someone sent McGowan a direct message on Instagram that said: "You left your wallet on your Saturday flight with your 2 bags of coke", the Associated Press reported. On Tuesday, her trial in Loudoun County Circuit Court was set for January 15.

He has denied all accusations.

"There is simply no point in time at which the evidence places Ms McGowan and the cocaine together in the same place", said Ms Carmichael, who suggested Weinstein could have had the drugs planted.

McGowan was not in the courtroom at the time, and she reportedly will not be present when her trial date is scheduled. The charges are unrelated to McGowan's allegations against him. He couldn't immediately be reached for comment.
