New'Wonder Woman 1984

First photos from 'Wonder Woman 1984' confirm that Chris Pine is returning as Steve Trevor

But according to a tweet that Jenkins sent out this morning.Trevor looks to be fine - albeit as confused as we are - in 1984. In doing so, Gadot-who made her first appearance as the comic book character in 2016's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice-became the first woman to front a DC Extended Universe movie.

Plot details for the Wonder Woman sequel are now being kept under wraps.

BURBANK, Calif. - Fast forward to the 1980s as Wonder Woman's next big screen adventure finds her facing an all-new foe: The Cheetah. Diana Prince may not age like ordinary mortals, but Trevor surely does; so how come he still looks so fresh-faced all these decades after the first film, set in World War I?

Gal Gadot takes in numerous popular television programs from 1984 in a new photo for Wonder Woman 2, or as the film looks to now be titled, Wonder Woman 1984.

Production on the "Wonder Woman" sequel has officially begun, and Warner Bros. has confirmed not only the title of the sequel, but that actor Chris Pine is returning, as well. Where did he get that tracksuit and how is it the most toned-down thing happening in this neon '80s dreamscape?

The 1984 setting of the next Wonder Woman movie was hinted at earlier this month by both Patty and Geoff Johns, the president of DC Entertainment.
