The Buffalo fire is burning in an area of unincorporated Summit County near the Wildernest and Mesa Cortina subdivisions - where residents of about 1,400 units were ordered to flee immediately. Pre-evacuation orders are in place for the community of Foxborough.
The fire has destroyed some structures, but investigators have not said how many or what type.
Approximately 50 firefighters are now on the ground, with 100 inbound.
