Sarah Sanders, Raj Shah planning to depart the White House

Sarah Huckabee Sanders has responded to news reports that she is planning to leave the Trump addministration. They told the network Sanders is planning to leave at the end of the year.

While Sanders didn't explicitly deny the report, she said that CBS didn't speak to her before running the story.

In a style similar to how Sanders has dealt with the White House Press Corps, she tweeted the CBS News report was wrong.

He said he couldn't imagine a media outlet speculating about a White House aide possibly leaving their post in six months with any other administration. The administration consolidated duties in many instances and also simply left some positions open.

These positions may never be filled, based on the administration's history. Less than halfway through Mr. Trump's term, the turnover rate stands at 51 percent, according to the Brookings Institution. In addition to all of that, the president prefers to have a small communications staff. He declined to comment on the record, according to CBS News.

Sanders replaced Sean Spicer, who quit last summer after President Donald tapped pal/financier Anthony Scaramucci as White House communications director - a gig Spicer had been filling in on.
