Ever heard of the smartphone company OnePlus?
Separately, OnePlus CEO Pete Lau told Business Insider that his firm had sold over one million OnePlus 6 handsets in its first 22 days of availability, a company record. This is better than the OnePlus 5 and 5T, which sold very well for them, with them taking three times as long to reach the million mark. Also, on the purchase of the OnePlus 6 through any official online or offline channel, two select customers will get a chance to win the flagship device. Moreover, OnePlus has been successful in developing nations such as India, where OnePlus 5T emerged as the best-selling flagship in the first quarter of 2018. The company is also offering "free upgrades of software flashing and diagnosis without any labour charges".
As a sign of gratitude to the OnePlus community which made the massive success of OnePlus 6 possible, the company has announced the "Community Celebration Season" which will see the rollout of some exciting offers over 12 days, between 15th June 2018 to 26th June 2018.
OnePlus 6 comes with a 6.28-inch Full HD+ Optic (1080x2280p) AMOLED display. On the camera front, there is a dual rear camera setup including a 16-megapixel primary rear camera with f/1.7 aperture, EIS, OIS and a 20-megapixel secondary lens with f/1.7 aperture.
Long-term partnerships with the likes of Amazon and Qualcomm, along with partnerships with carrier networks like Elisa and O2 in Europe, have helped to further build the company's presence overseas, OnePlus said in Friday's release. "We are touched by the trust that 1 million people have placed in us and are grateful for the loyalty they have displayed". Globally, OnePlus has over five million active OnePlus community members, with the OnePlus community forums averaging 10 million views per month, which is one of the largest and most engaged bases in the industry.
