It's true. So incredibly lucky to welcome the sensationally talented Kristen Wiig to our Wonder Woman family.
Filming is underway on the '80s-set sequel to Wonder Woman, and after a few days of Gal Gadot and Chris Pine chilling in fanny packs on the streets of Washington D.C., it looks like the nation's capitol is now ready to explode.
There are also rumours that Game of Thrones actor Pedro Pascal will play a key role in the Wonder Woman sequel. Chris Pine will return as Steve Trevor and we're all about as confused about that as Steve Trevor is about windbreakers.
Another photo from the set that began to circulate online had fans drawing a comparison between Gadot's outfit and one Carter wore while in character on the show. The director famously only signed a single movie deal with Warner Bros. and DC Films, which meant that she was able to command a much larger salary this time around to reunite the crew from the first film.
Because we know very little about the plot of Wonder Woman 1984, it's hard to gauge what is happening here. The star is known for playing Oberyn Martell in the HBO series, but exactly what he'll be doing in Wonder Woman 1984 remains unclear.
Gadot treated her Twitter followers earlier this morning giving them a surprise and stunning reveal of the actress fully decked out in her iconic costume.
