The younger brother of Sacramento Kings power forward Zach Randolph died early Saturday in a shooting outside an in barbecue restaurant, the New York Daily News reports.

Police say Roger Randolph, brother of Sacramento Kings player Zach Randolph, was killed when gunfire erupted about 5 a.m. Saturday at Hop's Blues Room.

He was pronounced dead at the scene. That said, they do not believe this was a random act, nor do they think the general public is in danger. Zach Randolph was at the nightclub with his brother on the night of the shooting.

Roger was charged a year ago with OWI, the IN equivalent of driving under the influence.

Zach was a standout basketball player from Marion, who went on the play collegiately at Michigan State before entering the NBA.

Our prayers go out to Zach Randolph and family.

The NBA star's younger brother reportedly was no stranger to the law.
