Elon Musk Reckons A Saboteur Has Been Dicking Around With Tesla Production

Musk emails staff alleging employee 'sabotage'

An employee of Tesla has sabotaged the company's operations by changing code in an internal product and sharing company data with third parties, chief executive Elon Musk wrote in an email to all employees, CNBC reports, quoting parts of the email.

Company spokeswoman Gina Antonini declined to comment on the email.

As you know, there are a long list of organizations that want Tesla to die. Further, he has expressed his concern over the long list of organisations who want Tesla to die for their personal benefits including Wall Street short-sellers, oil and gas companies, big gas/diesel auto companies among others. He added: "If they're willing to cheat so much about emissions, maybe they're willing to cheat in other ways?"

Please be extremely vigilant, particularly over the next few weeks as we ramp up the production rate to 5k/week. Last week, Tesla had announced cutting down 9 percent of its workforce not actively involved with the production of Model 3. More than 3,000 workers lost their jobs, and notices filed with the state of California revealed that over 500 employees in Fremont and Palo Alto were dismissed.

Tesla said the auto fire was an "extraordinarily unusual occurrence". In a "strange incident that was hard to explain", Musk wrote that a small fire on a manufacturing line had stopped production for several hours.

Musk can not afford for Tesla to fail.

The automaker is ramping up efforts to meet its goal of producing 5,000 Model 3s, the company's attempt to offer a more affordable vehicle that would allow it to break into the broader consumer market. The company's forecasts for generating profit and cash in the third and fourth quarters of this year are based on this objective, and falling short would reignite concerns about whether the company may need to raise more capital.

The leaked email, sent to Tesla's roughly 40,000 staff, said the matter was being was being investigated. In an email released by Musk on Twitter, he said the cuts will "not affect our ability to meet Model 3 production targets in the coming months". In fact, one employee is a saboteur and has been carrying out quite extensive sabotage in an attempt to damage the company.
