Meghan Markle's smile is hiding fear, stress and the pressure of adjusting to her new royal duties, her father said in an interview published Sunday.

Earlier this week, Thomas gave his second-ever on-camera interview with The Sun, in which he said he thinks his 36-year-old daughter is "terrified" of the royal spotlight, even criticizing her new, regal wardrobe.

Here's hoping the Markle family can fix things soon, and that Meghan is coping with her new life better than her father thinks.

In an exclusive interview with The Sun, Thomas was quoted saying his daughter is struggling to cope and its showing in her smile. I know her smile.

"I'd like to be treated by the royal family like Meghan's father", he said.

In fact, if you remember the details of the meeting between Meghan Markle and prince Harry, you should already be smiling.

Prior to the wedding, Thomas made plenty of headlines by posing for the paparazzi and letting them into his private affairs with his now-Royal daughter.

Thomas Markle isn't about to go away quietly. He's an emotional abuser that's looking to sell out his daughter. Eventually, it was announced he wouldn't attend because he was recovering from a heart attack. "I could actually die soon" he says.

"Why in 2018 are we dressing like the 1930s?" he also commented. He added that he knows what his daughter's genuine smile looks like and what he was seeing now is a pained smile. "I just want to clear the air and tell her how proud I am of her". "I don't like the one I'm seeing now", he added. I don't get it.

He also mentioned that he feels he has been shunned.

The royal couple left their children Prince George, 4, Princess Charlotte, 3, and Prince Louis, 2-months, at home.

William and Kate sat at the front of the royal box to see Serbia's Novak Djokovic take on South Africa's Kevin Anderson on Centre Court.

LOOOOL I can tell when Meghan Markle is putting on a fake smile for the cameras.

"The unfortunate thing for me now is that I'm a footnote in one of the greatest moments in history rather than the dad walking her down the aisle".
