Spears has plenty of experience in the fragrance industry, having launched her first scent, "Curious", back in 2004. "The fragrance is really good, but the name is very cool because it's empowering", she said.

"They enjoy it", Spears says, recalling one of her kids" adorable reaction to hearing a remixed version of her song on the radio.

Spears' new tour is her first since 2011's Femme Fatale Tour and the conclusion of her hugely successful Piece of Me residency show in Las Vegas last December.

She shared: "We were doing the scene where I was doing the walk scene through the hall to go through the door to go to the bedroom and we were sitting there and waiting and waiting together for like 20 minutes at a time".

Spears was already a superstar when she debuted her slithering dance partner 17 years ago at the VMAs, but that dance made both her and the snake MTV legends.

Speaking with PEOPLE, the entertainer, who is now on the road with a stripped down version of her Las Vegas residency "Piece of Me", spoke about the theme behind the release and how she works on her own confidence. "It keeps you really strong". According to a press release, the new unisex fragrance is a "seductive Oriental woody amber scent with an irresistible gourmand twist". "There is no judgments and no labels and it's just, it's very fresh and empowerment for women and I think for men and women".

Spears is now on the North American leg of her Piece of Me tour.

"This round of shows that we are doing on tour, they are back-to-back", she explains. "She loves performing for her fans!" a source previously told PEOPLE. "This guy is really cute.' So then I called him, and ever since then, he is just a really fun, amusing person". I like just clean chicken and veggies.

"It's really important to spread joy", she said.
