Barcelona to test Chelsea with bid including World Cup winner Ousmane Dembele

Chelsea winger Eden Hazard is not expecting to leave the club this summer, despite links to Real Madrid.

Hazard was one of the standout performers at the World Cup with Belgium, winning the Silver Ball as the second-best player in Russian Federation after helping his country to third place, even if he was not included in FIFA's official Fan Dream Team.

Hazard fuelled speculation of a move to Real Madrid at the end of Belgium's impressive World Cup campaign when he told reporters "it might be time to discover something different" after six years at Stamford Bridge and adding: "You know my preferred destination".

Real Madrid intensified in the negotiations on the Hazard after the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo, whom Juventus have paid more than 100 million euros. "I won't lie, I speak to him often", said Fabregas to the local media.

Keylor Navas wants to stay at Real Madrid and fight for his place even if Thibaut Courtois arrives from Chelsea in the coming weeks.

"I would like to meet these players face to face and talk to them and understand what the best thing is for everyone to do".

Chelsea start their pre-season tour with a game against Perth Glory in Australia on Monday before travelling back to Europe to play against Inter Milan, Arsenal and Olympique Lyonnais.

"Before that I would also like a player to come on the pitch for four or five days with me to have a clear idea of what the plan is".

Chelsea are in Australia on tour, while Hazard rests after his exploits in Russian Federation, and Fabregas says his team-mate is integral to the club.
