"He comes in - [and] off the bat you can see in the video I'm looking like, 'This guy does not look like an Hungarian immigrant.' Tight-a** leather trousers, a beard, it just didn't fit", Sweidan recently told Fox 11.
- A Riverside gun store owner has harsh words for Sacha Baron Cohen after he says he caught the actor showing up to his business in disguise and under false pretense, and it was all caught on surveillance video.
"I'm looking at the producer and I'm just like, 'am I being fooled right here?'" he said. Sweidan said to him, "You're Borat", after talking with him for a moment.
A Riverside gun store has released surveillance video that apparently shows actor Sacha Baron Cohen - disguised as a "Hungarian immigrant" - unsuccessfully attempting to purchase a firearm past year.

"You've got some gun advocate holding a bunny on some gun?"

Sweidan said that he started grilling the producers and the rest of his crew as to what they were doing, and what they were trying to make fun of. By the time they realized it wasn't real, the interview was already completed and filmed, and they opted to wait out the consequences rather than hire an expensive private investigator, Politico found.
Showtime has stood by Cohen's tactics regarding the rumored interview with Palin and did not respond to requests for comment from Fox 11 about the February, 2017 interaction at Warrior One Guns and Ammo. "We'll give you a real story".
