On top of the keyboard, the edition comes with all the contents from the Collector's edition. It's no surprise to see versions of games costing a couple hundred dollars or more and including anything from mini statues to movie DVDs to a bunch of useless crap.
As of now, it appears as if limited Premium Edition packages for Resident Evil 2 are going to be available in Japan only, as the American website for Capcom currently doesn't show the rather expensive special edition for pre-order.
The Japanese Premium collector's edition for Resident Evil 2 (known as Biohazard RE: 2 in Japan) comes packed with immersive memorabilia. It includes a Bluetooth keyboard and is priced at a jaw-dropping $900.
What you're looking at is a Lexington typewriter-style Bluetooth-enabled wireless keyboard for use with your computer or mobile device.
Interestingly, the typewriter design tries to keep things as traditional as possible, with the return bar acting as an additional enter key, and the paper feeder acting as a scrolling tool and volume knob. The $900 Premium Edition has much more than just a keyboard, however.
This means buyers are basically paying over $650 extra for the keyboard. The keyboard itself is said to be priced at 75,000 yen which is around $675. While it's a safe bet this package won't be coming stateside, the more reasonable collector's edition and its contents will be available in the U.S. for $200.
If you're just after the keyboard, you can opt for one of the keyboard manufacturer Qwerkywriter's other models, all of which lack the price markup of this "Resident Evil" edition. It'll be only for PS4 since the local Xbox One release is just digital.
