Trump blasts Omarosa as 'lowlife' after reports on new tell-all book

Omarosa Says Donald Trump Is Trying To Start A Race War

Omarosa's book marks stunning turn-around for a former top aide

"It had finally sunk in that the person I'd thought I'd known so well for so long was actually a racist", she wrote, according to The Guardian.

President Donald Trump on Saturday lashed out at former "Apprentice" contestant and White House aide Omarosa Manigault Newman after reports circulated on Friday that her forthcoming book Unhinged portrayed him as a racist.

On Saturday, reporters asked the president while on his golf course if he felt betrayed by Manigault Newman: "Lowlife". The White House says the book is "riddled with lies and false accusations".

During a White House pool spray, Trump responded to a shouted question about Manigault and her book- which claims that there are tapes of Trump using the N-word - by calling her a "lowlife".

Manigault Newman also reportedly secretly recorded Trump, then used those recordings as leverage while shopping her book. "The Art of the Deal is a bestseller!"

She told him to forget about it and writes that "we laughed, he wanted me to believe he was kidding".

Manigault Newman also wrote in the book she was offered $15,000 a month contract to sign a nondisclosure agreement after she was sacked from the White House a year ago, which she said she turned down. She acknowledges she had never been able to obtain or hear the tapes but said three unnamed sources had described their contents.

"On this phone conversation, I was told exactly what Donald Trump said - yes, the N-word and others in a classic Trump-goes-nuclear rant - and when he'd said them".

"During production he was miked, and there is definitely an audio track".

A previous Inquisitr article also notes that Omarosa has claimed that Donald Trump eats paper.

But CNN reports that The White House has called Omarosa a "disgruntled former employee" who is trying to make a buck off of fake stories.
