HMD Global, the Finnish company behind the Nokia smartphones, has scheduled a launch event in India on 21st August, where the company is likely to launch the Nokia 6.1 Plus, which is the rebranded global variant of the Nokia X6 launched in China.
On the purchase of Nokia 6.1, you can avail a flat 25 percent instant discount on your MakeMyTrip. The smartphone was launched as the Nokia 6 (2018) back in April for 16,999 for the 3GB RAM model.
Available in Blue/Copper and Grey/Silver colorways, the new Nokia 2.1 phone can be obtained from retailers throughout Malaysia for RM 415 starting from today onwards.
Nokia announced this news on its Twitter page and from what we can tell related to the Nokia 9, it will presumably be powered by the Snapdragon 845 chipset.
The Nokia 6.1 or Nokia 6 (2018) was initially launched in India in a 3GB RAM/ 32GB storage variant.
Earlier, the Nokia 6.1 Plus user guide was sported on the India website of Nokia mobiles, which also talked about certification from DoT, etc, hinting that the phone would be coming to the Indian market soon. The 4GB RAM variant will now have a price of Rs 17,499 instead of Rs 18,999. Even though some phones on the market already have such a sensor, Nokia 9 could be the first phone to mark the entry of the feature in the mainstream market.
The Nokia 6.1 flaunts a 5.5-inch full-HD display along with an aspect ratio of 16:9. The battery inside the flagship is expected to be a 3,800mAh cell. For the front, there is an 8-megapixel camera with a 1.12um sensor and f/2.0 aperture.
It comes with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, and a USB Type-C port for connectivity and charging the smartphone.
