While Nintendo got to steal the spotlight of having Final Fantasy on the Switch, it isn't the only new platform receiving these games.

Chocobo's Mystery Dungeon EVERY BUDDY!, a "return" to the 2007 game Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo's Dungeon, will debut for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 this winter.

Soon after this reveal during the Direct, it was announced that in addition to coming to Switch, all of those same aforementioned titles other than Chocobo's Mystery Dungeon and Crystal Chronicles Remastered will also be arriving on Xbox One.

That was far from the only Final Fantasy related annoucement though, even accepting that news of Final Fantasy XV: Pocket Edition HD had already leaked out.

Final Fantasy XII will be the recent Zodiac Age remaster, and X and X-2 will be the HD remastered versions as well.

These are remasters of the original versions - so not the upcoming remake of Final Fantasy VII - but it will be the first time any of them have been on a Nintendo console. World of Final Fantasy Maxima will arive on November 6th. You might as well start calling your Switch "the Final Fantasy machine". The game supports two-player co-op.

A very exciting announcement has recently come to light that will be sure to have long-time and newer fans of the Final Fantasy series very excited. The game offers the entire story of the Final Fantasy XV game.
