Assassin's Creed Odyssey is nearly here and though fans of the franchise have so much to look forward to already, Ubisoft just drastically upped the hype levels with post-launch stories on the way - including the hidden blade's origins - and what the Season Pass will entail. At the time of its release, Assassin's Creed III was considered to be something of a disappointment.
The episodes of both the first and second story expansions will release "approximately six weeks apart".
The first story arc, Legacy of the First Blade, will explore why the assassins choose to fight from the shadows and depict the first assassin to use the iconic hidden blade.
Story Arc 2 - The Fate of Atlantis: Confront godly creatures and uncover the secrets of the legendary sunken city.
Assassin's Creed III Remastered will be sold as a stand-alone title for players who don't own the Assassin's Creed Odyssey Season Pass. This remaster will be released in March 2019 and can be purchased outside of the season pass for an as-of-yet unannounced price. Benedict Arnold Missions, Hidden Secrets Pack and Tyranny of King George. Buying that gets you three things: two "Story Arcs" and Assassin's Creed III Remastered. Additionally, all Assassin's Creed Odyssey players will have access to recurring free in-game events, introducing challenging enemies and daily quests. This includes "The Lost Tales of Greece", an "episodic questline" whose episodes will be released regularly in between the Season Pass story episodes.
Assassin's Creed III Liberation Remastered: Originally released as a PlayStation®Vita exclusive, Assassin's Creed III Liberation has been remastered for PlayStation®4 systems, Xbox One and PC in full HD. Gameplay mechanics and ergonomics have also been improved. Which will you play first: the brand new game or the remastered classic? Then there will be a variety of in-game events, such as the daily Oikos of the Olympians contracts, and epic ships and mercenaries that will appear on a weekly basis and will need taking down. Ubisoft says it wants to provide "a continual stream of new content to all players, with quests that feature new and familiar characters".
Assassin's Creed: Odyssey will be released on October 5, 2018, for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The Season Pass will be available separately or as part of the game's Gold, Ultimate, Spartan, or Pantheon Editions.
