"Yes, I think I am now perceived in that light", said Griezmann in an interview with AS.
Atletico Madrid star Antoine Griezmann says he still can't fathom why he was not voted one of the world's top three players by Federation Internationale de Football Association - but hopes winning the "more prestigious" Ballon d'Or will make amends.
Griezmann has stated he belongs at the same table as the superstar pair.
The Atletico Madrid striker has been among the world's elite for several seasons and took another step towards greatness by helping France to a World Cup triumph in Russian Federation this summer. 'It's obvious that I'm a different player to Cristiano, Messi, Neymar or [Kylian] Mbappe. When I listen to this kid talk I remember players like Totti who have won everything and do not have a Ballon d'Or.
"They all won a lot of titles at home and none of them won a Ballon d'Or".
Speaking about the Atletico Madrid striker's comments ahead of Real Madrid's Champoins League opener against Roma on Wednesday, Ramos said: "Ignorance makes you very bold".
"Those three Champions League wins are not coincidence, you have to maintain the ambition to want to win".
'I'm at the top but I can get better.
However, despite of his achievements this year, Griezmann was snubbed by Federation Internationale de Football Association from its final 3-man shortlist for the best player award.
"I seek to be as complete as possible".
"Everybody is free to give his opinion and thoughts, but this guy should let himself be advised by Cholo Simeone, Diego Godín or Koke, who have some values which could be helpful to him".
Griezmann has scored just once for Atleti this season as they have taken only five points from 12 in their worst start under Simeone, but after suffering a tough period a year ago he said he believed things could turn.
