The Galaxy A7 flaunts a 6-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity display with a resolution of 1080×2220 pixels, along with an aspect ratio of 18:9.

The phone will come in four colors, including blue, black, gold and pink, and seems to arrive just in time to take on the colorful iPhone XR.

Samsung Electronics has announced its first triple camera smartphone. The Galaxy A7 - a brand Samsung recycles every year - appears to be the first handset to deliver on that promise. Surprisingly, Samsung has added three cameras on the back side of a mid-range smartphone, but not on a flagship. Talking about the triple camera setup on the rear, the Galaxy A7 (2018) sports 24MP primary sensor with f/1.7 aperture, an 8MP 120-degree ultra-wide angle sensor with f/2.4 aperture, and a 5MP depth sensor with f/2.2 aperture. While the S9 has a superior 12MP camera and 2.7GHz processor, the S8 tops out at a higher but less advanced 16MP snapper and 2.3GHz processing. It consists of a 24-megapixel lens with an LED flash, capable of taking bokeh-effect photos and creating AR Emojis. The phone packs 64GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 512GB via a microSD card.

Quite obviously, no specific Malaysia release dates or pricing details were revealed. Samsung Galaxy J4+ and Galaxy J6+ run Android 8.1 Oreo.

The handset will initially launch in select European and Asian markets and will gradually expand this Fall. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, NFC and a USB Type-C port. Sensors onboard include accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor, RGB light sensor, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The dimensions are 159.8 x 76.8 x 7.5 mm and it weighs 168 grams. "That's why we're excited to introduce innovative new features to the A series with the Galaxy A7, a practical but powerful device that is built to help make your everyday both convenient and extraordinary".
