Devil May Cry 5’s Mega Man Collaboration Is Weird And Wonderful

Devil May Cry 5 has Mega Busters, live-action cutscenes, and online multiplayer

And Now Devil May Cry 5 Has The Mega Man Buster

On top of four silly alternate arms for Nero (including Mega Man's buster cannon and one created to slay pasta instead of demons), it comes with a pack of battle themes from earlier in the series.

Here is the TGS 2018 Devil May Cry 5 trailer and a batch of new screenshots.

Apart from the trailer, Capcom has also revealed a new Mega Man collaboration with Devil May Cry V. Nero can use the iconic Mega Buster as a weapon, wrecking havoc with Mega Man's signature weapon.

First off, let's have a peek at the Tokyo Game Show trailer, featuring fresh gameplay footage with quite a lot of new moves and combos on display.

While seeing Dante slicing and dicing demons - and turning into one himself - is the main highlight here, we also get a glimpse of the third playable character in the game. This will be part of the Devil May Cry 5 Deluxe Edition, which also includes extra Devil Breakers, 12 alternate classic battle themes and more.

In related news, Capcom released a music video for Dante's battle theme yesterday, titled Subhuman. One of the bonuses is a set of exclusive Devil Breakers for Nero, and one of those is based on the famous Mega Man weapon, the Mega Buster, set to star in the soon-to-be-released Mega Man 11. Hopefully, those animations are included in the final game.

Devil May Cry 5 will be available on March 8, 2019 for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
