A gorgeous photo of the newlyweds was released by the Royal Family overnight, along with official photos including those of the bridal party and one including the Queen and Prince Philip.

Ellie was joined by her fiancé Caspar Jopling at the bash laid on by Prince Andrew and Fergie.

ITV said Saturday that it added roughly 2.1 million viewers during its extended morning program that showed live coverage of Friday's wedding at Windsor Castle. The Queen sat in the second row, meaning that, to follow protocol, the seat directly in front of her had to remain empty so that her view was not obstructed.

It is believed to be the first time they have been pictured together in 26 years after she was cast out amid her "toe sucking" scandal in the 1990s.

Made In Chelsea's Ollie Proudlock, who arrived hand in hand with his fiancée Emma Louise Connolly, was on brand as he showed off a scarf embroidered with pictures of Princess Eugenie and her new husband. They include Prince George and Princess Charlotte, the children of Eugenie's cousin, Prince William, and Kate, Duchess of Cambridge.

Britain's Princess Eugenie of York (C) walks up the aisle to marry Jack Brooksbank during their wedding ceremony in St George's Chapel, Windsor Castle.

The couple are photographed sharing a kiss while seated in the carriage.

Another photograph shows Eugenie wearing an evening dress which was designed by Zac Posen. The choice of colour reflects the blush of an English rose.

"Mr Posen took his inspiration from the White Rose of York", it explained.

The pin-tucked plissé is cut on the bias and mixed with signature drapes.

The silk for the gown came from Biddle Sawyer Silk, the palace said.

Royal fans may have been surprised when Princess Eugenie chose not to change into a second dress for her wedding reception.

But in 1981 while on a visit to the United States, Elizabeth II wore one of the brooches in her hair, just as Eugenie did tonight.
