The hassles of flying coach were apparently too much for Tara Reid, who was booted from a Delta flight on Monday.
Reid was on a plane from Los Angeles to NY and she caused a serious disturbance right before take-off, prompting the captain to refuse to put the plane in the air until she was de-boarded. Eyewitnesses told TMZ.com that Tara was complaining loudly that she had been given the wrong seat and hadn't been given a pillow, with flight attendants unsuccessfully trying to calm her down.
Uh-Oh: Tara Reid, 42, was kicked off a cross-country flight prior to takeoff after an angry outburst on Monday. She also says she was cramped in her seat because the woman in front reclined her chair. At the time, the Sharknado star told us she was now single and ready to date a nice guy.
Reid's rep didn't immediately return a request for comment. The Hogan Knows Best personality slammed Delta and accused its "bitchy jealous overworked nasty flight attendants" of punishing Reid for being "white and privileged".
"They wouldn't let the dog sit next to me, so I wasn't going to stay on the plane", Tara told Extra.
"Delta apologizes to the remaining customers for the inconvenience and appreciates their patience as the situation was resolved", the statement read.
The flight eventually took off for NY with a delay, but no further incidents.
After Reid was deplaned, the flight was allowed to take to the skies.
Miz Reid boarded a different flight.
