Apple is widely expected to announce at least one, likely two new iPad Pros in the coming weeks, and while we've had a few leaks here and there, there has been nothing on the scale of what we usually see when a new iPhone is on the horizon.

Apple Special Event is scheduled at 10:00 am EDT (7:30 pm IST) in Brooklyn on October 30.

"There's more in the making", the invite reads.

Interestingly enough, there's also a rumor that Apple this year will introduce a new low-priced laptop that looks similar to the MacBook Air, albeit with slimmer bezels and a high-res Retina display. On top of that, Apple is expected to update its Mac mini which is also due for a fresh revamp. Some have also suggested that Apple could launch a new version of Apple Pencil, alongside the new iPad Pros. Note, however, that the new iPad Pros will not incorporate a notch design a'la the iPhone X. Incidentally, there are reports that Face ID on the iPad Pro will thankfully be able to work in both portrait and landscape mode.

Specifically, Apple is rumored to be adopting an iPhone X-like design, with minimized bezels and dropping the physical Home button. It would also be an opportune time to launch the AirPower wireless charging pad that has gone unspoken of for much of the past year. Do keep your fingers crossed as Apple may surprise us. However, iPad sales have slowed in recent years in favor of laptops and other larger screen devices.

Potentially, a new Mac Mini desktop that's oriented towards professional usage. In March, the company announced new education software and an update to the entry-level iPad at a Chicago-area high school.
