Kim Kardashian recently took to Instagram Stories to reveal how she had to evacuate her Hidden Hills property in Calabasas after a wildfire broke out in her neighbourhood.

"No Calabasas tonight", Kourtney wrote in her Instagram story alongside a photo of suitcases packed in a auto trunk.

"Just landed back home and had 1 hour to pack up & evacuate our home".

"I pray that everyone is kept safe and protected from the fires", she wrote.

Kim thanked the first responders for keeping the community safe before recording the firetrucks and police cars driving down her neighbourhood's streets.

"They're evacuating everyone right now from all of our homes".

"Fire fighters are arriving".

The 38-year-old had originally filmed the flames from the window of her private plane and shared them to her Story, later realizing that the blaze was part of the Woolsey Fire, which had erupted near the home she shares with husband Kanye West and their children.

Her sisters, Kourtney Kardashian and Khloe Kardashian, also evacuated their nearby homes, with each giving social media followers updates on their comings and goings.

Kardashian shared aerial video of the risky Woolsey Fire, urging her 120 million followers to pray for those affected by the blaze near her family's compound in Calabasas. Saying prayers and thanking all of the fearless firefighters who risk their lives for us, ' Khloe said in tweet on early Friday morning.

The Good American designer later added that she couldn't sleep because she was "too nervous" about the wildfires.
